According to The Land Report, Stan Kroenke vaulted to the top of the 2026 Land Report 100 after completing the largest U.S. land purchase in more than a decade, acquiring over 937,000 deeded acres of New Mexico ranchland known as Singleton Ranches from the heirs of Teledyne founder Henry Singleton. The off-market deal, with no financial terms disclosed, nearly doubles the size of Kroenke’s landmark 2016 Waggoner Ranch acquisition and ranks second only to John Malone’s 1-million-acre timberland purchase in 2011 among major land sales this century. The transaction further expands Kroenke’s already vast ranching empire, which spans Wyoming, Montana, Texas, Nevada, and Canada, solidifying his position as the largest private landowner in the United States, as reported by The Land Report.
The Singleton Ranch in New Mexico Is Located About 169 Miles From Roswell.
